Jack of all, master of none is what they told you but I bet you nowadays jack of all is now opportunity to financial freedom. For instance, if you are written your CV, wanting to secure a job of your dream, would you write just one skill? So why would you write more than one skills when you know that “Jack of all is master of none? “Won’t the company turn down your application?” and actually go for another applicant, but to have edge over other applicant you decide to wrote more than one skill and also conclude by saying “I have the ability to learn fast” in case they will want to train you on other required skills for the job and remember having the ability to learn fast is a skill on it own.
Our gate-man in my compound is an example of jack of all, opportunity of financial freedom, apart of his #30,000 monthly salary, the last time i interviewed him, he said in the interview that he actually earn minimum of #60,000 extra from menial jobs in the compound and from outside couple together, for instance, he can repair generator, can paint, also an electrician just mention but few, unknowingly to anyone he earn minimum of #100,000 monthly together with his salary.
Acquiring skills takes time but if you can invest the time, it will paid off one day.
My dear reader, the next time you are telling people about yourself and what you do, don’t forget to mention all what you can offer, who knows which one might brought a fortune…
